As far as the weather goes, this past week has been glorious in YYC. And with the sunshine also comes the blooming of spring’s ubiquitous floral prints. When I spotted Laurel Green rocking her pretty poesy print shirt-dress, I was intrigued. When I discovered the lovely cut out in the back, however, I was enamoured with her look.
Green lets her dress dictate the rest of her outfit, but throws in some other lovely pieces—including a vintage pair of cowboy boots—just in time for this year’s serious Stampede countdown. The teal belt isn’t just cute, but also adds shape to the dress, and her fantastic bird necklace is a real statement maker. A pair of oversized shades is always a nice addition and is the perfect way to celebrate the beginning of Calgary’s most beautiful season.
